AMPERE Gestion has been chosen by the Public services supplementary pension scheme (ERAFP) to develop a residential property portfolio in France. A major portion of this investment will be allocated to intermediate housing.
ERAFP is one of the largest pension funds in the world with over 4.5 million members and nearly €2 billion in annual investments. It launched a consultation process in May 2017 with a view to stepping up its property investment strategy by awarding a €200 million management mandate. In February 2018, AMPERE Gestion was selected to develop a residential property portfolio in France, mainly in the intermediate housing sector. The portfolio will be managed by CDC Habitat/CDC Habitat.
This new success is a testimony to the wide-ranging expertise of the CDC Habitat/CDC Habitat, together with its CSR credentials as ERAFP is one of Europe’s leading Socially Responsible Investors (SRI).
