On Friday 8 December 2017, the Supervisory Board of the intermediate housing fund (FLI) visited an intermediate housing programme in Arcueil near Paris.
This 26-unit housing development was delivered in October 2017 and is located in the Chaperon Vert mixed development zone in Arcueil. It is a major programme headed up by SADEV 94 and will eventually comprise 38,000 m² of housing, nearly 16,000 m² of office and commercial space and a school. The high-quality development is just a ten-minute walk from the town centre and five minutes from the RER rapid transit system (which is due to be connected to Line 15 of the Paris metro by 2022 as part of the Grand Paris Express project). It has obtained French RT2012-10% energy performance certification. Its success is reflected in the take-up rate of around 81% just a few weeks after delivery. At 17 euros per square metre (including parking space), rents for this intermediate housing development are 15% below market rates.
This was one of the last deliveries of 2017 for the FLI which has now taken delivery of almost 1,200 units out of a total of 8,000 secured units (to be delivered over the next two years).
